Meet Paul and Polly (Pauline)
Rennie Owners
Paul began his career at Richters in 1966 as a part-time island
attendant. He and Polly married in 1971 after meeting on a blind
date. When George Richter retired in 1978, they assumed the role
of management. They reside in Ridgewood and have two
sons.
Paul has a B.A. degree and a Graduate Certificate in Technical
Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Polly holds a BA
from Tulane University and a MA from Middlebury College.
Small business management has never been easy and the last thirty
some years have brought new challenges. We used to call
them problems!, says Paul. But the rewards come from providing
career opportunities for some and an indispensable service for
many.
As Polly says: Our customers are simply the best!
